6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Way Public Library Lower Level Rooms A and B Perrysburg Area Democratic Club will hold a Candidates’ Forum on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. at the Mercy Health Room at Way Public Library. All Issues and Candidates endorsed by the Wood County Democratic Party who are on the ballot in Northern Wood County on November 7 have been invited to speak.
The Chamber of Commerce has announced the Perrysburg Homecoming Festival will be taking place on Saturday, September 24th, with a parade at 10 a.m. and booths open until 4 p.m.! This is one of signature events each year and offers a great opportunity for the community to meet our candidates and pick up yard signs.
We will be hosting our Fall PADC Meeting / Candidate Forum at the Way Library at 6:30 p.m. the Thursday following (September 29th). Once again we will be on the 1st floor in the Mercy Room. We hope to welcome many new members that we meet at the Homecoming Festival and give the community a chance to hear from candidates as early voting opens shortly after. PADC Meeting at Way Public Library – 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2022 – election of officers, budget discussion, updates from local Democratic elected officials and more.
Dems Dinner ~ PADC’s annual family potluck picnic returns! – 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at the Woodlands Park Shelter House (at the corner of SR 795 & East Boundary) in Perrysburg. Fun and fellowship. Free and open to all Democrats throughout our region. Please bring a dish to share. Cups, plates, napkins and utensils will be provided. This Saturday and Sunday marks the “Weekend of Action” in Wood County. This is the first event of its type and will be run out of the Party Headquarters in Bowling Green. Harrison Rally Day is Saturday, September 15th. We are looking for volunteers to help staff the booth. This is a fantastic opportunity to share our values and candidates with all who attend.
